What is 36 Point?
It's like the standard type size of a headline if you like using default settings. We thought about calling it "36 Points", but that sounds like a Kate Hudson movie, and not a good one at that.

What have people said about 36 Point?
"The pleasure and the privilege was mine as I discussed "Sketchbook" on the industry's favorite podcast, The Reflex Blue Show."
Timothy O'Donnell – 4/3/09
"The Reflex Blue is one of the nations leading design focused podcasts. The creators Nate Voss and Donovan Beery have a down to earth and engaging style that makes any subject interesting."
Justin Ahrens of Rule29 – 3/22/09
"I don’t have to tell you about 36point.com, do I? I love these guys… their podcasts have been a must since the Be A Design Cast days."
Dan Reynolds of TypeOff – 11/17/08
"You guys had the best questions I've ever gotten. I was deeply impressed that you did research, and actually knew things about us (but not the really skanky stuff). Thanks for having me on your show. It was a highlight of my trip. And thanks for the hard work keeping design and designers out there to the rest of the world."
Sean Adams of AdamsMorioka – 6/26/08
"Nate and Donovan are a little nuts, so this is a really different radio interview from [Design Matters with Debbie Millman]. The Reflex Blue Show is as close as designers will come to Morning Zoo-type radio shows, and it's actually pretty great. They know what they're doing. Check it out if you've got the time."
Stefan Bucher of 344 – 3/12/08
"Two renegade bloggers from Be A Design Group have gone rogue, creating their own foray into the design webosphere, and 36point.com means business."
QUIPPED by Jason A. Tselentis – 3/5/08
"[The Reflex Blue Show is] not like it's NPR with Terry Gross or anything, but I was still a little nervous. In the end, I had a great time. Anyone can do a podcast with enough technology at their disposal, but Nate and Donovan are doing something that adds to the graphic design industry. These two guys from Omaha are shaping and enhancing the design community…and having fun doing it."
Steve Hartman of Creativille – 3/5/08

Justin Ahrens says: Great season fellas! Mig's last tip was brilliant:)
Drew Davies says: We're happy whenever it is that we get new comics, Nate. p.s. I like Newton's college hair. I'd always figured it used to look like that.
Ryan Rushing says: Good luck setting up Movable Type. I've heard it's pretty difficult, but of course totally worth it. ..Initiating beast mode...
Brianna says: Wow, are you magic? I just had to take a break from a horrendous PPT that an internal client has asked me to "fix" -- *weep* -- only to find you have penned the perfect comic to pull me out of my melt
Donovan Beery says: PF, great insight on the process out East. Being in a different region, it's sometimes hard to tell what changes there are based on geography, but it sounds about the same there as it is here (Well, o

Mr. PF says: Great episode guys! I wanted to jump in on that conversation multiple times, but I think you did a good job of covering all sides of some debates. In a fit of half-procrastination, half-ranting, I wr
Prescott Perez-Fox says: Ok, I'm not done listening to the show yet, but I have to chime in and remark on a recent interview I was on, where the interviewed attempted to flatter me by remarking that they had over 700 applican
Nate Voss says: Hey — keep it classy up in here, Prescott. Keep it classy.
Prescott Perez-Fox says: Oh don't even get me started on Powerpoint!!! By far the worst piece of software ever developed. Notice I DID NOT say "design software." These days, I just use InDesign and save as a PDF. But you've p
Nate Voss says: Lisa, that is awesome. I approve of your battle against injustice and comic sans…

Ryan Rushing says: Donovan, I think you were dead on about the new design being so terrible it's awesome. You pointed out the London 2012 logo, and I would also like to throw in the Aol. logo. Not that's it's necess
Tom Nemitz says: Also... She's a lady! Whoa-oh-whoa-oh! Sorry, I couldn't resist. Haha!
Tom Nemitz says: A world where Chuck Barkley is not recognized as a poet laureate is scarcely a world at all.

Tom Nemitz says: "I will always think of Illustrator as the dickhead jock of the group." Myself, I consider Illustrator to be the Jeff Gillooly of design software. You know, Tonya Harding's BFF who took out the kneec
Prescott Perez-Fox says: I cannot stand the little differences! You're right, Illustrator likes to make its own rules. For example, why when you go to Preferences, does Illustrator refer to "User Interface" and put it almost
