Like Colors
Dearest readers,
As friends of 36 Point, we’d like to bring your attention to our newest endeavor:
Like Colors is a t-shirt competition — a concerted effort to assemble the finest in contemporary t-shirt design. The results will be published in an upcoming book of the same title. It’s free to enter and open to everyone. The deadline for submissions is 15 August 2008.
Call for entries and additional information is available at likecolors.oxidedesign.com
Feel free to enter early and often, and spread the word around the globe. Thanks for your support!

i have to say – at first glance this doesn’t look that legit
i know it is – because superstar designer drew davies is too legit to quit
BUT really it looks like a cheap (free) way to pick up a couple hundred hot new tees for those involved
there really weren’t any details about whats happening with the tees after the contest other than they will not be returned
maybe i totally missed something and someone can point it out and then proceed to talk smack about my mother
or just shed some light on how things are going down
I can assure you all that this compilation of the world’s best t-shirts is completely legitimate. Is anyone calling Rockport Publishing’s integrity into question when they ask for physical samples for their books? No, because seeing the design in person is an absolute necessity to evaluate its effectiveness.
Rockport’s latest garment design book actually asks for TWO samples:

We’re all required to send physical samples of our work into any number of design competitions. Like Colors is no different, except that in this case we’re not asking you to ALSO send a check.
Enter today! Submissions must be received by 15 August 2008:

My vote is for a gallery show at the book launch event.
My vote is for acts of complete sweetness as feathered boas are sewn to the collar of each submission! Ahhhh, but what do I know!?
