I’m so geeky that I have always liked Star Trek. I love the original Star Wars and the original Star Trek movies for their differences. Looks like they did a good thing here with the new Star Trek, but hopefully it isn’t trying to be Star Wars. Nobody likes a poser.
I’m also a fan of Lost, so it will be interesting to see what Abrams does with Star Trek.

It pains me, as an anti-trek, pro-wars guy to agree with you on this. If Trek started carrying lightsabers instead of phasers, it would be game over for the Wars.

I don’t know… I actually liked all of the Star Trek stuff. I’m afraid they’re going to make it into a stereotypical summer action flick (guns, tits and explosions) and lose the feel of Star Trek that I enjoyed so much.

I agree Nate. I never thought I’d see the day when Star Trek was a better product then Star Wars. Very funny stuff though. This article is overflowing with buckets of awesomeness all over the place.
