<description>I&#039;m surprised nobody&#039;s brought this up yet. A podcasting first. Maybe a first in the realm of the blogosphere.
There was a mention of Poppycock. RDQLUS, indeed. Nicely done, chaps.

<description>OMG! You can&#039;t imagine how psyched I was to see the &quot;Critiquing Critique&quot; title in my podcast list.
Thanks for all the feedback and maybe I&#039;ll send in my portfolio for some pro status crit.
Critiquing To Do:
1. Does it “feel” right? Why not?
2. Does the content fit the context?
3. Is the typeface appropriate?
4. Are the graphics appropriate?
5. What are your thoughts on the color usage?
6. Does it follow any grid?
7. Does the hierarchy read well?
8. Is it gestalt? (Look it up!)
9. Have they taken it too far or not far enough?
10. Is everything spelled right?
11. Is it missing any content?
12. Do you understand the message?
13. Does it need explaining?
14. Does it fit the target audience?
15. Is there a completely different way the work could have been done?
16. Design basics, know them!
17. Know why something doesn’t work and have a solution in mind!
18. The solution is up to the designer and taste is subjective.
19. Are there distracting elements?
20. Could the composition be better? (Viewers perspective?)
21. Think before you speak!
22. Subjective vs. Objective.
23. When do you graduate?
24. Once taste becomes a factor back off/critique is over.
Thanks again guys, Art.

<description>Tom, hahaha! Hopefully next time… Agreed though, gents. Seems like we&#039;re in quite a lull in the design world. Calm before the conference storms?
