We’ve been talking a lot lately about how to talk to clients to get the most out of those relationships. I think we’d all love to be brutally honest, but that’s rarely the right tactic. In my youth, I once overheard a senior designer tell a client that “it would be irresponsible of me as a designer to make the changes you are suggesting.” We never heard from them again.
