I’ve had this strip written for about 10 to 11 months now, but it always needed the proper setup (see Wednesday’s strip for that). With my penchant for saying the most inappropriate things at the least-appropriate moments, I’ve sometimes fantasized that this scenario is note-for-note what my return to full-time employment would be. No, just kidding. I am an excellent candidate for your office’s design needs. Promise.
It was suggested, rather strongly, last night, that further Great Pizza Hunt Excursions be given their own space on this website, and so that will be the way it goes in the future. Bravo to those who convinced me.
It was also asserted that this space be reserved to speaking only of things that relate directly to the strip at hand. To which I reply: Batman Returns is the third best Batman movie, hands down. Discuss if you like, but it will not change facts.

Coming into our 100th comic at what seems a staggering pace here, people. Please don’t expect anything on the awesome scale of the 50th strip (that was a product as much of lucky timing as anything), but go ahead and expect something a little bit special. I mean, I [heart] you. I want to give you nice things when I can.

Welcome to the official kickoff of the 36 Point Student Design Challenge! We think your college years are some of the most important years for graphic designers. While generally we like to think of graphic design students as a serious, studious bunch, with lots of learnings and yearnings going on, we know there’s a lighter, brighter side to your experience as well. Specifically, the side that knows how to use graphic design for awesome, instead of for good.
Nate Voss is a designer, illustrator, talkshow host and design journalist. Working in Omaha since 2001, Nate served four years on the Board of Directors for
