1PT.Rule Comic : The Unenviable Conclusion

No, this is not the last strip. I'm not making a big fuss about "continuity" around here, though the occasional 3-strip epic poem may appear.

I once spent a few days freelancing at a corporate office in town. There were the upsides mentioned above, along with a kitchen that would make Rachel Ray feel all warm and tingly. The people I worked with were very, very nice. The office space itself was exactly as depicted in the strip.

I've been there, kid. After an experience I would rather not re-live, I have two simple rules, even for freelance: no Windows, no Quark. I'm surprised you didn't bring it up in the interview — you can be tactical about it by asking "what kind of technology are you using?" Also a good way to find out if they're still using those Turquoise G3s and Photoshop 5.0.

It helps to have some view of sunlight in some form or another, but sometimes with old buildings, that's a stretch.

Great comic, even though you misspelled "better."

I worked on a PC for 6 months at my job.

How ever in August they finally got me a mac and spared no expense. So I can't complain too much.
