    Welcome back! Due to a rebalanced week we are moving Reflex-Blue Wednesdays to Reflex-Blue Thursdays until further notice! We'll still have plenty to see the rest of the week, and if you haven't checked out 1PT.Rule yet please do -- and bookmark it with a passion usually reserved for Harry Potter novels.

    We jump back into the show covering all of the exciting things happen on the site lately before delving into the expensive world of Adobe CS4 and the confusing, inexplicable world of the Pepsi rebranding. Enjoy!

    Ai CS3 opens FHmx files without a problem.
    Yes, big shocker to me too.
    But it does.
    Be happy.

    Ok, the anti spam words don't work. What a pain.

    Great show guys! And I agree;

    Sierra Mist = FAIL.
    Obama logo = WIN.

    While we all missed the Paul Rand UPS logo (mainly for the package tied with string), I don't think the new version is bad at all. It's modern, clean, and still recognisable. However, I can't say the same for Pepsi. As a Pepsi drinker, I am deeply ashamed that this is my new logo. *sigh*

    I wouldn't say Pepsi is the at&t of 2008, but simply another dud in the chain of Xerox, Walmart, and Tropicana. WTF is going on? Maybe those large agencies are falling apart at the seams.

    You guys were talking about the Obama campaign and their use of graphic design, so you might be interested in this...

    I collected together a bunch of the artwork the Obama campaign used during the last year so people can see the consistency and style of the work.

    Raul, you are correct on AI opening Freehand files. I just installed CS4 and it not only still opens Freehand files, it opens multiple page Freehand files too.

    Also, for G4 users, I've successfully installed CS4 on my iBook G4. Programs open slowly, but function. My machine specs are listed in the first comment on that page linked above.
