The third job was the one that was the most difficult to leave, but as with any new opportunity, I was looking forward to the new challenges. Being the year 2000, a technology company was also an exciting place to be a working at, but one that would not last. That darn dot com bubble was bound to burst, I’m just glad I had the opportunity to live it first hand, as I learned so much about myself, design and business in the process.
As I have before, I list the five lessons I value the most in no particular order:
After 50+ episodes as hosts of the Be A Design Cast, Nate and I are happy to announce our new venture into podcasting.
Sometime during the first week of March 2008, we will launch the first episode of “The Reflex Blue Show with Nate Voss and Donovan Beery”. We’ll still talk about design, drink more of the Dew while recording than we should, and then talk some more design. Expect us to bring guests from the old show back, and bring new guests in, but overall just have a fun time doing what we now consider our favorite hobby.
Next week, we are happy to welcome our first guest, Steve Hartman from Creativille, Inc. near St. Louis.
