The Reflex Blue Show, Season 4, Episode 10: I Have an Inkling for CS5.5
September 8th, 2011 | by Nate VossThis week’s show — new and recorded live while the microphones were on — is an operatic examination of Things. We spend a slight amount of time recapping our recappings of HOWlive twenty-eleven (presumably for the final time); the finer points of local AIGA awards shows; a magical pen that records your drawings and turns them into more drawings; finally begin to delve into Adobe Creative Suite Five Period Five (a conversation will continue, dear friends, as we endeavor to uncover its dark, dark secrets); and do a little, tiny bit of dribbbling. Maybe more?

The Reflex Blue Show, Season 4, Episode 2: Justin Ahrens? Okay…
June 7th, 2011 | by Nate VossJustin Ahrens, who you know and love (?) if you have listened to this show for any amount of time, joins us yet again and this time we beat some information out of him about actual paying work. Dude’s always helping people, changing the world and making lives better, and frankly we’re tired of hearing about it. So we talk about some real billable, paying work.
We also dig into what he’s cooking for the HOW Design Live show in just a few weeks, and Jon Cryer‘s illustrious movie career. And scotch. LISTEN! LISTEN!

For the third year in a row, 36 Point will be covering the HOW Conference (or in this case four conferences) in Chicago. We’re in the process of lining up interviews now.
And then Neenah Paper beat us to the punch by interviewing me about my plans at HOW in just a few short weeks. Read the post at “We Wask the Kwestions Here!”—36Point at HOW LIVE.

The Freelance Radio Show sort of picked-up where the Freelance Radio Podcast left-off. I assume in a similar way that 36 Point’s The Reflex Blue Show came out of the Be A Design Cast. Maybe. What I can be certain of though, is that Dickie Adams, Kristen Fisher, and Von Glitschka seem to have a lot of fun recording a show dedicated to all that is freelance – freelance writing, freelance photography, freelance illustration, freelance design, and freelance awesome.
Anyway, it was my pleasure to be invited on as the first guest of The Freelance Radio Show. Listen in at Episode 5: Social Don’t Forget My Number.
